2020 SYRAH, HAZELFERN

Chosen Family Syrah made in collaboration with Hazelfern cellars

Harvested from the Les Collines Vineyards, our Syrah is a memento of the terroir of Walla Walla. Aromas of boysenberry, Bing cherry, El Dorado spiced plum, and wild blackberry bramble are accented by scents of fresh earth, leather, star anise, and baking spice. On the palate, this wine is elegantly framed with juicy dark fruit and notes of cedar pencil shavings, dried rose petals, and cocoa powder dust.

This comes off very fresh with a smooth texture. Garrigue, black currants and coffee ground flavors combine with medium-bodied dark fruits on the palate.
